Respiratory Therapist – CRT or RRT – Full Time

 

Shift: Day shift; 6:30am – 6:00pm; call 6pm – 6:30am

 

Job Summary:

42 bed, critical access hospital. RT will be responsible for out- patient procedures, In-patient care, ED patients throughout the day. With additional staff they will have 2 staff members on day shift during the week days to help with our increased patient load.

 

Requirements:

  • Wyoming RT License.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
  • Previous work experience is a must, good critical thinking skills and must be able to prioritize.

 

Details of unit:

RT department is very small with a total of 4 staff members. They all work and get along very well together. There is no night shift, but will take call at night. RT department does all respiratory modalities for all ages and disease processes, cardiac testing, basic PFTs, drawn and run ABGs. They are part of the Rapid Response Team, Trauma Team and Code Team, and work within all departments of the hospital.

 

Compensation: 

Respiratory Therapist Cert: $21.77 – $27.21/hr.

Respiratory Therapist Reg: $22.88 – $28.61/hr.

· 5% differential afternoon shift ( 3p.m. – 11 p.m.)

· 10% differential for night shift (11 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)

· $.50 weekend premium

· $2.00/hour for on-call
